Release 6.0

Styling and navigation

The styling of and navigation in Ternair Campaign have been changed.
The main menu consists of the items Campaigns, Selections, Runs and Schedules.
All other processes (templates, settings, user profile, TID-info, news and user manual) have been placed on the right side of the main menu bar.

Search screens

The start screen for each item in the main menu consists of a search screen.
The results in a search screen can be filtered and sorted on various criteria and properties.

Menu structure

From a search screen you can click through to the desired section. After clicking through a sub menu with various tabs appears.
The default structure of the Selections sub menu is: Dashboard, Settings, Runs, Schedules, Statistics, Flowchart.

Dashboard

The homepage in Ternair Campaign consists of a dashboard.
Apart from the main dashboard there is a dashboard for each main menu item (Campaigns, Selections, Runs, Schedules). A dashboard consists of various widgets. The composition and structure of the widgets can be personalized.
The following widgets are available: recent selections, latest runs, upcoming schedules, quick links, news, recent campaigns, sent e-mails, e-mail openers, e-mail clicks, sent SMS, number of exported records, number of records in lists.

Styling e-mail report

The design of the e-mail report is modified.

Details / Export extra profile fields

The "Details" screen in an e-mail report shows the detailed data per individual record for Clicks, Openers, Bouncers and Sent e-mails. It is possible to search within the specific records.
Furthermore extra profile fields can be shown and exported. The available profile fields are all fields that have been mapped in the e-mail block of a selection flowchart.

Device type, e-mail client

From now on devicetype (desktop, tablet, mobile phone) and e-mail client (gmail, outlook, etc) are also administered and disclosed when an e-mail is opened. These fields are shown in the e-mail report screen "Details". Furthermore these fields can be used in a selection flowchart within the entity Opens from datasource e-mail statistics.

Tags

When defining an e-mail block in a selection flowchart tags can be matched to a hyperlink. From this release these tags are available in the entity clicks within datasource e-mail statistics.

Links / heat map e-mail

The screen "Links" shows the clicks per hyperlink.
Furthermore a "heat map" of the e-mail is shown. The heat map shows visually which parts of the email content have been clicked and to what extent they have been clicked.

App messages

"App messages" is a new output function.
With this function an app message can be sent to users of an app (Android, iOS).

Bug fixes and changes


HTML content

  • While editing the email content you are able to edit the "raw" HTML code

  • While defining the "RSS-readmore" part of a hyperlink can be set in the HTML and the remaining part of the RSS Example: <a href="http://www.ternair.com/?mypage=[rss-value]" target="_blank" class="ternair-rss-readmore">example</a>

  • Recalculating RSS merge when sending e-mailing

    When it is defined in the e-mail content that a number of RSS messages must be shown the latest RSS messages will be retrieved when executing the e-mail block


E-mail statistics

  • In the detail report "Links" all hyperlinks are shown, including links with 0 clicks

  • Similar hyperlinks that appear multiple times in an e-mailing were previously aggregated; from now on links and clicks are displayed on the lowest level in the email statistics.


Showing fields in selection and output

  • In selection and output blocks the path (entity/source) for selected fields is shown

Schedule

  • Not filling out the end date in a schedule displayed an end date of 31-12-9999; from now on an empty end date will be shown

  • When scheduling a monthly schedule the selected day (for example 1st Tuesday of the month) was not saved correctly; this is solved


General

  • Various minor changes to improve robustness


Appendix: Overview Navigation

Open existing selection flowchart

  • Click the Selections menu

  • Search the Selection

  • Click Selection link in result screen (opening the selection)

  • Click the "Flowchart"

  • Click the "lock" tab to edit the selection flowchart

New Selection

Two options:

  • Click "create new selection" in the Quicklinks widget on the Homepage

or

  • Click the Selections menu and then the button "New selection"

Viewing statistics e-mail run

  • Click the Runs menu

  • Click the Run

  • Click the link for the Run in the result screen (opening the run)

  • Click tab "Statistics"

Downloading export file

  • Click the Runs menu

  • Search the Run

  • Click the link for the Run in the result screen (opening the run)

  • Click the "Download" button


Editing e-mail template

  • Go to the menu (on the right of the menu bar)

  • Click Templates

  • Click tab Email

  • Go to the specific e-mail template and click "Edit"


Following selection in TC app

  • Click the Selections menu

  • Search the Selection

  • Click the Selection link in the result screen (opening the selection)

  • Click tab "Properties"

  • Click the "Follow" button


User manual

Two options:

  • Click "User manual" in the Quicklinks widget on the Homepage

or

  • Go to the menu (on the right of the menu bar) and click "User manual"
