Context menus

Right-clicking on a block or line/arrow in a selection flowchart opens the context menu. The content of this menu depends on the type of block/arrow selected and whether it is a new or saved selection.

New selection

Context menu block

When a context menu for a selection block is opened, the available functions are:
  • Calculate;

  • Delete;

  • Cut;

  • Copy;

  • Show order of execution;

  • Settings (open block);

  • Signal;

  • Edit Memo.

For output blocks (green), the Calculate function is not available but has been replaced by Execute.

Note: Executing a block actually executes the selected output method; for example, creating a list or sending emails or SMS messages.

See Campaigns execute for more information on executing output blocks.

Context menu arrow

If a context menu is opened on an arrow between two blocks, it can be deleted.
Via Coding it is possible to define additional information about the input block for an output block. See Coding information for more information on output blocks.

Tip: a block or arrow can be deleted by selecting it and clicking the Delete button on your keyboard. Select multiple blocks and/or arrows simultaneously by holding down the Ctrl button to delete multiple items at once.

Depending on the chosen action, a pop-up will be displayed to confirm the chosen action.

For example:

Context menu worksheet

In addition to the context menus for the items on a selection flowchart, the worksheet itself also has a context menu. Through this menu you can:
  • Paste;

  • Execute;

  • Advanced;

  • Reload selection.

Execute" can be used to execute (part of) a selection.

Via 'Advanced - show order of execution' a screen is displayed showing the order of execution of the different blocks in the selection flowchart. Clicking again on the same item removes the order from the screen.

Show queue

Via 'Show queue' a screen is shown with the (progress of) the execution of the different blocks in the selection flowchart.
You can easily turn on/off the block queue. To do so, follow these steps:
  • Click on the 'options' icon (three vertical dots) in the top right corner of the screen.

  • Set Show Queue on/off.

  • Close the settings.

Existing/saved selection

After a selection is saved, one or more flowcharts can be added to a selection. Adding one or more flowcharts to a selection makes additional options available in the various context menus.

Move to

When you open the context menu for a selection block in a saved selection, an additional function, "Move To," is available.

The Move To option allows you to choose from an 'existing flow' (number or name of the flow is shown) or the 'New flowchart' option. In this case, a new flowchart is created and selected blocks are moved to it.

Blocks can be moved to another flowchart only if all connected blocks are selected for movement. If all connected blocks are not selected, a message will be displayed that moving the blocks is not possible without selecting the other blocks.

Properties flowchart

Right-click on a flowchart's tab to adjust the flowchart's properties or to delete the flowchart.

Under properties, the title (name) and description (shown by hovering the mouse over a tab) of a flowchart can be modified. Clicking 'delete' will delete the entire flowchart and associated blocks. A selection should always have at least one flowchart. When deleting the last flowchart in a selection, a message is displayed that the flowchart cannot be deleted.

When more flowcharts have been added to a selection than can be displayed across the width of the screen, a pop-up appears in which the flowcharts that no longer fit on the screen can be selected.

Refresh entities selection block

By right-clicking on a list of entities (the red outlined block in the image below), you can refresh the available entities. Based on Ternair's client settings, certain entities will be updated in real time. Performing a refresh will (re)load the most recent attributes.
Please note that a manual refresh of the entities may take some time.
